Direct Current Machine
A Direct Current (DC) motor is an electric motor that runs on direct current electricity. It converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through the interaction between magnetic fields and current. The motor consists of a stator, rotor (armature), and a commutator that reverses the direction of current flow in the rotor windings, ensuring continuous rotation.
